But we find Ταουις as a woman’s name PLond II, 258, 184 p. 33, and Ταουεις PLond II, 257, 212 p. 26; 245 p. 27 as well as the Lat. masc. Tavius e.g. CIL III 6248.—The interpolated Gk. and the Armen. have Γαουί̈α.)
